Governor Bala Swears-In Six new Commissioners, Others

Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has presided over the swearing-in ceremony of six Honourable Commissioners and five Special Advisers, calling on them to discharge their responsibilities to the best interest of Bauchi state.

Speaking at the occasion held at Banquet Hall, Government House Bauchi, Mohammed said three of the commissioners were reappointed based on their commendable record of performance.

He congratulated the new three commissioners and five special advisers to work relentlessly in the implemention of government policies and programmes for the benefit of the citizenry.

Speaking on behalf of the sworn-in Commissioners, Alhaji Abdulkadir Ibrahim expressed gratitude to Governor Bala for finding them worthy of the positions and pledged to work to ensure success of his administration.

The Commissioners have been assigned as to the following ministries:

1. Hon. Abdulkadir Ibrahim- Ministry of Works and Transport.

2. Haj. Zainab Baban Takko- Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

3. Hon. Ahmed Aliyu Jalam- Ministry of Water Resources.

4. Dr. Sabiu Abdu Gwalabe- Ministry of Health.

5. Hon. Maryam Garba Bagel- Ministry of Power, Science and Technology.

6. Adamu Babayo Gabarin- Ministry of Information and Communication.
