Governor Bala Mohammed Flags Off Mainama’aji Road Project, Urges Citizens to Preserve Lands and Forests

Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has appealed to citizens to refrain from encroaching on lands and forests, assuring them that his administration is working tirelessly to improve their well-being.

He made this call during the flag-off ceremony of the 25.88km Mainamaji-Badara, Kuka-Pali road project, emphasizing the importance of unity and collective effort in enhancing the lives of the people.

Governor Mohammed highlighted his administration’s commitment to constructing additional township roads, renovating and upgrading general hospitals and facilities, and providing dividends of democracy to the people.

He also pledged to address the issue of out-of-school syndrome through a partnership with the Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE), promising to employ thousands of teachers to combat unemployment and restiveness.

The Governor emphasized the significance of the project, stating that its completion will have a positive impact on the state’s economy.

Our correspondent reports that The road project, undertaken in collaboration with the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP) and the World Bank, aims to alleviate the difficulties faced by motorists and farmers, thereby promoting economic growth and development in Bauchi State.
