EMPOWERMENT: Teen Hub partners American Space to train youth in creative innovation

An NGO in Bauchi Teen Hub Initiative in Collaboration with American Space has organized a One day training aimed at engaging younger generation into been various creative and Innovation.

The Founder of the NGO Miss Precious Dare said the training was the second edition which is been conducted annually with the theme “Positive development ” held at the American space office Bauchi.

Precious Dare said if younger generations are trained, they will become independent and also contribute towards the development of the nation and develop positive life for themselves.

She therefore emphasize the need for Civil society organizations CSOs to come and partner together with Teen Hub Initiative in other to achieve the desired goal.

According to her, base on the resources they have, thirty participants were drawn from five Primary, secondary and tertiary institution in Bauchi,while hoping to expand the capacity within the next few years.

Also speaking, the Director American Space Bauchi, Nasiru Umaru Launi said training was aimed at encouraging the Young boys and Girls to also embrace into science, technology, engineering and Mathematics subject.

Nasiru Umaru Launi also stressed the need on girl child to venture into the field of Science, technology, engineering and Mathematics which are solely dominated by men with a view to engaged more women participation.
