Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, Sends Goodwill Message to Citizens as Nigeria Enters 2025

Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, has extended his goodwill message to the people of Bauchi State as they welcome the new year, 2025.

In his message, compiled by His Media Aide Comrade Muktar Gidado, the governor expressed gratitude to God Almighty for guiding the state through the challenges of 2024, and acknowledged the resilience and steadfastness of the people in the face of economic hardship.

Governor Mohammed congratulated the people of Bauchi State for overcoming the numerous challenges of 2024, and appealed for their continued patience and perseverance.

He assured them that his administration will continue to provide palliative items to cushion the effect of the hardship and work towards finding lasting solutions.

According to him, Despite the paucity of funds, the Bauchi State Government has made significant strides in providing infrastructural and social facilities, particularly in the areas of roads reconstruction, mass housing, urban renewal, and education.

Adding that The government has also recorded progress in reviving agriculture, economic empowerment, and youth development.

Governor Mohammed reiterated his administration’s commitment to improving its performance and driving socio-economic and political development in the state. He emphasized the importance of consultation, stake-holding, and community engagement in good governance, and assured that his government will continue to prioritize the rights and obligations of citizens.

The governor also pledged to maintain security in the state by remaining vigilant against criminal elements and called on the people to cooperate with security personnel by reporting suspicious movements or persons, emphasizing that the fight against insecurity is a collective responsibility.
