One of the numerous banal reasons that make majority of the populace still believe and recall past leaders unto political positions is unforgettable legacies erected when he or she was steering the leadership mantles. Many have come and gone but only few are remembered, they are being remembered because of their robust stewardships, exemplified leadership qualities and unbiased harmonious relation with both rich and poor. Rt. Hon Abubakar Y Suleiman is privileged to represent Ningi Central Constituency in the 9th Assembly of Bauchi State, who not only doubles as the Speaker of the House, but also the Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria.
Many have broken away the shackles of poverty, several youths were offered jobs and jobs opportunities as well as thousands of idle ones were given skill items after undergoing trainings all free of charge.
Abubakar in his term as lawmaker, embraced all irrespective of differences, he has proven those that thought he would not deliver by setting new paces in all sectors of the economy. Dangaladima’s background and grooming from parents paved way for his unique leadership in a very challenging times. He fixed political quagmire and economic stagnation of many households by keeping them busy into businesses and some in farms. Respectable Abubakar has facilitated the rehabilitation, renovation and construction of many schools for the development of formal and informal education, provided Solar Powered Boreholes and drilled many hand pump boreholes in several communities that have been suffering from water scarcity; facilitated the construction of roads for easy accessibility to places that had non in the past and changed the perception of many through financial supports.
Furthermore, what befall most of our politicians after being in offices is distancing themselves from the public, majority no longer attend event been invited but it was totally different in the case of Honorable Suleiman; he often visit gatherings organize by ordinary citizens, dine with them without stigmatization and offers helping hands to those in dire needs. Abubakar is often referred to as the tears drier to the bedeviling societal challenges. As some egocentric politicians run from problems, Dangaladima is desperate to know the problems and resolve them with almost all he got until people’s demands are met.
Similarly, the indefatigable Speaker has built legacies that could stand the test of time and he would be remembered for centuries due to lives he impacted upon positively.
Lastly, Rt. Hon. Abubakar Y Suleiman is politically coached, societally impactful, religiously knowledgeable and publicly donator whose hands are always open given back to the people that risen him up.
