Abduction: Katsina Government reopens schools, directs operations on day basis instead of boarding

The Katsina State government has ordered the reopening of all females boarding school on day basis system to the nearby schools location or residents on Wednesday 24 March, 2021.

This was contained in a Press Release signed by Public Relations Officer, Minister of Education Sani Danjuma Suleiman and made available to newsmen.

The release also added that, the Government approved the reopening of some boarding Schools which includes Government Unity Secondary School Malumfashi, Sir Usman Nagogo College of Arabic and Islamic Studies (SUNCAIS) Katsina, Government Girls Secondary School Dutsin Safe Katsina.

Others are Government Girls Arabic Secondary School Dutsinma,
Government Secondary School for the Deaf Malumfashi and
Government Secondary School for the Blind Katsina.
They will resume on Sunday 28 Match, 2021 for the continuation of 2020/2021 academic session.

The management of the school are also urged to full compliance with Covid-19 safety protocols for Students, Staff and Visitors.
