2023: PDP Stakeholders in Sokoto Visits Mallam Ubandoma, pledges more support for his aspiration

Stakeholders of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Sokoto North Local Government under the leadership of former Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Religious Affairs, Hon Abdullahi Maigwandu earlier today visited the PDP Governorship Candidate for the upcoming election, Mallam Saidu Umar FCNA at his residence in Sokoto.

While Speaking, the leader of the delegation Hon. Maigwandu affirmed their fealty to the unanimous decision arrived by the State PDP Stakeholders that led to the emergence of different candidates of PDP at various positions through consensus without any acrimony. He also pledged to rally behind and drum support for the PDP across the 11 wards of Sokoto North Local Government at the upcoming elections. He assured him that Sokoto North Local Government will InshaAllahu deliver the highest votes number for the party.

In his remark, the Council Chairman of the Local Government, Alh Mustapha Shehu Sokoto extolled the pedigree of Mallam Ubandoma in competency and accountability which he declared can stand any scrutiny. He further said, his emergence was divine hence the reason for their solidarity.

Responding, Mallam Ubandoma appreciates the delegation immeasurably for the visit which signifies the brotherhood of Sokoto North and Sokoto South LGs. He assured them that he will place Sokoto above anything, and also promise to continue on the solid gains achieved by the present administration of Gov. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal.

The high-powered delegation consists of Sokoto North LG Chairman, Alh Mustapha Shehu Sokoto, Member Representing Sokoto North 1 in the State Assembly, Buhari Yarima, 4 Special Advisers to Governor Tambuwal, PDP Zonal Vice Chairman Sokoto North District, PDP Sokoto North LG Chairman, Elders of the party in the LG, Vice Chairman of the LG, Councillors, Party officials at State and Local level, Chairmen of the 11 wards in the LG and other party stakeholders from the LG.
