2023: ‘I have remedy to Kaduna insecurity’ – former ACG to citizens

A governorship aspirant in Kaduna state and former Assistant Comptroller General of Custom, Alhaji Bashir Abubakar says he has what it takes to combat crimes and criminality when voted into power as Governor of the state.

The APC Governorship aspirant who disclosed while speaking with newsmen in Zaria, said as security expert who rose to managerial cadre in the paramilitary outfit, his wealth of expertise will assist greatly in taming prevallance of banditry bedeviling Kaduna state.

Bashir Alhaji who is also the Barge Kudun Zazzau expressed concern on the high level increase of killings, banditry and cattle rustling, saying that with the technical know how all these could be a thing of the past.

“I have remedy and panacea to the bedeviling insert challenges in the state.

“Kaduna state need a technocrat who can build on the already established legacies of Governor Nasir Ahmed Elrufai who has laid a solid foundation for both human and capital development.

“And with my kind of expertise and vast experience, I think I can contribute immensely in restoring peace and stability in the state.” He said.

The former ACG said youths and women empowerment, education and adequate health care provision will top his priority while infrastructural and human development will be given necessary consideration for overall growth of the state.

He noted that Nigerian democracy which has been striving greatly needs capable and credible people to continue to steer it to more greatness.

The former custom boss stated that he joined partisan politics to make sacrifices as informed by the teeming populace for the general well-being and development of the state and country as a whole, urging citizens to give him a chance.
